Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement

 

Ethical standards are crucial to ensure high quality of scientific publications, credibility of scientific findings, and evaluation of authors' work. It is necessary to agree upon standards of expected ethical behavior for all parties involved in the act of publishing: the author, the journal editor, the peer reviewer and the publisher.
1 Publication and Copyright
1) All submitted manuscripts are subject to strict peer-review process by at least 2 reviewers that are experts in the area of the particular manuscript.
2) The factors that are taken into account in review are originality, academicity, innovation and readability.
3) The possible decisions include acceptance, acceptance with revisions, re-review with revisions, change to other publications or rejection.
4) If authors are encouraged to revise and resubmit a submission, there is no guarantee that the revised submission will be accepted.
5) Rejected articles will not be re-reviewed.
6) The paper acceptance is constrained that the content involved acts of defamation, copyright infringement, plagiarism, forgery, etc. Otherwise, the author is responsible for all legal liabilities.
7) No manuscript can be included in more than one publication.
2 Editors' responsibilities
1) Editors have responsibility and authority to reject/accept a manuscript in accordance with the opinions of reviewers.
2) Editors should take the originality, readability and the relevance of journal contents of manuscripts as the only criterion. Editors are responsible for the contents and overall quality of the publication, ensuring the quality of the papers and academic integrity.
3) Editors should always consider the needs of the authors and the readers when attempting to improve the publication.
4) Editors should publish errata pages or make corrections when needed.
5) Editors should preserve the anonymity of reviewers.
6) Editors should only accept a paper when reasonably certain. Editors should act if they suspect misconduct, and make all reasonable attempts to persist in obtaining a resolution to the problem. Editors should not reject papers based on suspicions, they should have proof of misconduct.
7) Editors should not allow any conflicts of interest among authors, reviewers and board members
3 Reviewers' responsibilities
1) Reviewers should keep all information regarding papers confidential.
2) Reviews should be conducted objectively, with no personal criticism of the author.
3) Reviewers should express their views clearly with supporting arguments.
4) Reviewers should remind the publisher of the fact that he or she has found that the manuscript is substantially similar or duplicated to any published paper.
5) Reviewers should not review manuscripts that have conflicts of interest with them.

Authors' responsibilities
1) Authors must certify that their manuscripts are their original work.
2) Authors must certify that the manuscript has not previously been published elsewhere, or even submitted or reviewed in another journal.
3) Authors are obliged to correct the mistakes. Authors must report any errors they discover in their published paper to the editors and accept the processing of the editorial department.
4) All Authors mentioned in the paper must have significantly contributed to the research.
5) Authors must state that all data in the paper are real and authentic.
6) If there is any conflict of interest, the author must notify the editor to suspend the processing of the manuscript.
7) Authors are obliged to identify all resources used in the creation of their manuscript.
